Mini Me

Lynn got me this 20 year old miata to save gas. I call it Mini Me, because it needs some body work just like me! I'm getting addicted to this blogging stuff.

This was just too cute. Gwen is our 10 year old barn cat.

Last Friday, Lynn played hooky and we went to search for more Indian ruins. Picture Canyon is near Campo. The hike was great. Although, we did find some pictograhs, I had expected to find more. There were lots of side canyons, but we ran out of time. One more thing to cross off of our bucket list.

In the land of the Ancients

On the first day of my retirement, Lynn and I went to Utah and slept under the stars. The last night we went to a cool bed and breakfast in Ouray. The gift certificate was courtesy of Robben and Zak in appreciation of the wedding.

It's me! Don't I look like I could kick some butt!

I am taking over so watch out. Lynn will do a lot of the writing because he writes so much better than I do. 2007 was a great year for us. We started doing the things that we enjoyed so much. We even back packed to our favorite place Naked Lake, don't even ask. There will be more to come.

2007 Memories

2007 will be for me one of the best years of my life. It all started with a Valentines surprise weekend planned by Cindy. She made reservations to the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. It was a perfect weekend of hiking to frozen waterfalls in the snow to building our own little pool in Chalk Creek next to the hot springs pools, to eating great Cajun food in the restaurant, thanks Lady.

Last November we bought a new sport touring motorcycle the Yamaha FJR 1300 and earlier in the year a new Toyota FJ Cruiser, one of the most competent stock four wheel drive vehicles made. We still have our dual sport dirt bike, our bicycles, and or backpacks. This year was full of "Expeditions" with all of our toys.

Hey Daddy! I created this for you as part of your Christmas present. What I am going to do is enter every expedition from you 2007 Memories that you wrote. If you want you can keep entering it like you were when you started writing it in the first place, except for family and friends will be able to read about it every weekend if you want! If not you can tell me to delete it, I just thought you might enjoy sharing your memories with everyone. I can teach you how to use it but it is pretty easy, all I need from you is dates so I can add more from what you gave me Thanks. Love ya!
