Holden

Just some pictures of the little man.

Initials

Lynn put our initials on an aspen tree near St. Elmo almost 30 years ago When Robben came he put hers. Then 3 years ago, he put 25 years beside it. LP + CC = RP Hers didn't show up as well. Her's are at the bottom.

One more adventure

Back to Utah and more ruins and hiking. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Cool nights and warm days. Going down to the Citadel Ruin I got scared and let my mind take over, because of a narrow ledge or lack of a ledge which made me chicken out. I felt really stupid when I looked down from the top and saw a 7 year old with his family including Grandma and her 2 walking sticks at the ruin. This time we used a rope to get to 3 of the ruins that we visited. (I am becoming more adapt at a rope and trusting my legs while Lynn has always been a mountain goat.) Moonhouse was one of those that needed a rope. It was probaly one of the most intact and amazing ones that we have seen. We explored Butler Wash this time and saw one ruin that had been huge and the most beautiful and intricate rock art panel on the cliff wall called Wolf Man. We camped out and slept in the back of the cruiser except for one night when we smelled so bad that we went to a motel in Bluff. Utah's funny about drinking. No bars. State run liquor stores with limited operating hours. You have to go to a restaurant and order food to order a drink. Most serve only beer and wine. We had a great time and want to go back soon.
